Over the past few weeks, Borussia Dortmund have been busy preparing for the upcoming Bundesliga campaign.
For every notable outgoing, there has been a notable incoming so far this summer at the Westfalenstadion, and, as confirmed by the club’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, this is not about to change over the coming days.
Speaking to Sky Germany, Kehl commented on Dortmund’s upcoming transfer activity:
“I can already say that something will happen with us in the next few days—on both sides. In one place or another, we are also making progress.”
Undoubtedly, Kehl is alluding to the signing of Maximilian Beier, whom the Black and Yellows have been targeting as a replacement for recent West Ham United recruit Niclas Füllkrug.
It is believed that personal terms with the German international have already been agreed upon, but BvB are yet to match Hoffenheim’s valuation.
Regardless, it is expected that the 21-year-old will make the move to Dortmund sooner rather than later, allowing Youssoufa Moukoko to depart for Ligue 1, where Marseille are hoping to secure his services.
As well as this, AS Monaco are set to sign Paris Brunner from BvB in what will be a significant turn-around of attacking talent for Dortmund this summer.
