Sergio Ramos' company has been fined for renting tourist accommodation without a licence

Ancient Seville, Real Madrid and the star of Spain Sergio Ramos is one of the names of celebrities caught in a wave of fines distributed by the Council of Madrid for violation of property laws.

The 38-year-old defender is still without a club after leaving Sevilla on a free this summer, but he has not missed a place to stay. It is, with his brother Alvaro Rene Ramos, a company owner who manages a rental company called Sermos 32, who were convicted for renting tourist accommodation without a license.

Five separate fines were given to Sermos 32 between the period of February 2023 and March 2024, say. The confidentialalthough it is not clear how much those fines are. The last known value of Sermos was 12 million euros in 2020, when the company lost 121 thousand euros.

Ramos was one of several names caught in the fines, including the great-son of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco, Juan Jose Franco Suelves, whose company was sanctioned on three occasions.
