After Youssef En-Nesyri made his move to Fenerbahce, he left Sevilla on the hunt for a new number nine. It seems it took them several days to find one.
Senior Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho agreed a deal with Sevilla after his contract in England expired this summer. The 27-year-old Nigerian international was linked to Sevilla from Reliefand a few hours later, Matteo Moretto tweeted that the deal was closed.

Last season, Iheanacho scored six goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances, although most were cameo shows. Signed for Leicester for €25 million from Manchester City, he failed to hit the heights. Los Nervionenses will hope for a change of scenery and Garcia Pimienta will be able to unlock that early potential shown, as they will need a forward to overcome their league best of 12 goals in 2021. Currently their only competition, or partners, are Isaac. Romero and Dodi Lukebakio.
