Liverpool are now considering who should replace Jurgen Klopp, and Simon Jordan believes he knows the perfect candidate.
The Reds are in the process of searching for a new head coach after Klopp shocking decision to walk away of the club at the end of the current season.
In the eight and a half years since the German chief was appointed, Liverpool They have enjoyed many successes winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Club World Cup.
Not only that, but he has turned the Reds into one of the most entertaining and energetic teams in the Premier League.
Life after Klopp will no doubt mean a new era for Liverpool, but speaking to Jim White, Jordan says the club may not have to look too hard to find someone who can bring out the best in Klopp's carefully assembled squad.
Speaking on White And Jordan, Jordan said: “If he was involved with Liverpool, I think he (Ange Postecoglou) would be being considered because he offers a lot of the things that Jurgen Klopp has managed to deliver, that includes galvanizing the fan base and style of play.
“He has the personality, the charisma, the identification, the style of player, he is a winner. Okay, he is in the Scottish league, but he won and Klopp won with Borussia Dortmund in Germany, so I think there are many similarities.
“I think Spurs will have nothing to do with this and nor should they, but there is absolutely room and consideration for Ange Posteglo.
“Yes, Spurs are a team that works and they have a lot of things to do and it's very early for them in the Premier League, but everyone is watching Ange Postecoglou and you think 'yeah, okay' because the vision comes now and people can see it.
“We thought Postecoglou was a good fit for Spurs. The style of play that he plays, the culture that he radiates and the charisma of him, it is a slightly lower level of charisma than Jurgen Klopp.”
He continued: “This team is without a doubt Klopp's team. It reflects your personality and the question to ask yourself is whether someone else can adopt that personality and maintain or improve it.
“Klopp is so enigmatic, so charismatic, so passionate, so motivated, so enthusiastic and so full of energy; All those features are found in this equipment.
“You're not going to get a replica of that. “Klopp is unique in his own way.”
