Aston Villa can confirm that Lino Sousa has joined Bristol Rovers on loan.
The left-sided defender joined Villa in January from Arsenal and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Plymouth Argyle.
An England Under-19 international, Sousa was a regular for Arsenal’s Under-21s and was named on the first team bench for an FA Cup tie last season.
