Ezri Konsa is expected to be available for Aston Villa’s Premier League encounter against Everton.
The centre-back was forced off just after the hour mark in England’s UEFA Nations League victory over Finland on Tuesday.
But, speaking at Friday’s pre-match media conference, manager Unai Emery is not reporting any issues among his international contingent.
“The players are coming back after they played with their national teams, they are in the squad,” said the Spaniard.
“We don’t have big issues after it.”
Emery also provided a positive update on striker Ollie Watkins, who withdrew from international duty with the Three Lions.
“He’s progressively getting better, feeling better, and he’s in the squad,” said the Villa boss.
“And being in the squad, thinking tomorrow he’ll be available to play.”
Long-term absentees Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara are stepping up their respective recoveries but Saturday’s clash against the Toffees is set to come to soon.
