“That nobody regrets later, that's what we asked for” – Getafe manager Jose Bordalas remains furious
Manager of Getafe Jose Bordalas is no less disappointed about the construction of the team at the Coliseum this summer, commenting again on the lack of depth available after their 0-0 with Real Sociedad.
With Borja Mayoral and Alvaro Rodriguez still out, Getafe went into the match with only one natural attack. The hero of the first match, Chrisantus Uche, started ahead of Betrug Yildirim, and although he could not get the crucial goal, Bordalas was delighted with him.
“The truth is that we are very happy with the boy, apart from being more or less clinical, the energy he puts in makes us very happy, not only me, but also his teammates. He is a very important player, he landed on his feet, he is a very affectionate, very kind boy, he showed it again.”

“All the players gave everything, from here I want to congratulate them, it's a pity that we didn't do it well in the last meters, if it was done on points, of course we would have won, but in football what what counts are the goals,” Bordalas said Marco.
Los Azulones have a squad of only 20 players, which includes only one right back and no missing wings. Bordalas was clear that expectations should be low for the coming season.
“This will be a very long season, in the month of September we will play five games in fifteen days. That no one regrets later, this is what we wanted, we just have to work and do what we did, to see if we can do it right.”
It looks like Getafe they will fight to stay in the division, and they need Mayoral, Betrug and Rodriguez to find some form sooner rather than later. With Bordalas' record, however, few would bet against them staying in the League, with a wealth of experience behind him.
