The Argentine international striker confirms contact with Real Madrid about the transfer

Beltran currently has eight goals and one assist during his time at Artemio Franchi in his first season at the club. He also chose to represent Argentina over Italy.

Beltran was signed last summer, when Los Blancos were without a main striker initially after the exit of Karim Benzema. It might have been the case that Real Madrid They were interested in a younger forward before they ended up bringing in Joselu Mato on loan from Espanyol. The latest is for Los Blancos to exercise their €1.5m purchase option on the veteran Spanish international.
