The arrival of Hansi Flick gives the Barcelona starlet a better chance of securing the first team spot

A number of previously forgotten Barcelona players will have the opportunity to test Hansi Flick when pre-season training begins in the coming weeks, and Pablo Torre is one who falls into this category. However, the 21-year-old looks increasingly likely to be on the way out.

Torre was signed by Racing Santander in 2022, and despite being highly rated by club officials, he never got the chance to impress. He was sent to Girona last summer, and since then, he has been surpassed by Fermin Lopez, making his chances of establishing a place in the first team even slimmer.

Still, there is hope for Torre. He preferred to stay in Barcelona for the start of the pre-season to have the chance to impress Flick, as for MD. Also, he fits Flick's 4-2-3-1 better, compared to Xavi Hernandez's 4-3-3.

Despite all of this, it seems inevitable that Torre will leave Barcelona this summer, with the club's owners more likely to pursue a permanent sale. Girona have been rumored to be making a second move.
