Arsenal are ready to download Albert Sambi Lokonga this summer with Seville going for a deal.
The Belgium international has struggled to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium since his arrival from Anderlecht in 2021.
Injuries and lack of space in by Mikel Arteta the midfield kept the 24-year-old on the sidelines and he admitted he wanted an exit.
Arteta is happy to oblige, after mixed loans to Premier League neighbors Crystal Palace and Luton Town, in the last two seasons.
According to reports from Football LondonArsenal have agreed terms with Sevilla on a loan deal for the 2024/25 campaign, with a fee of €3 million.
However, the remaining obstacle centers on a buyout clause, which Arsenal want to be binding in 2025, but Sevilla are pushing for flexibility.
If the two clubs can resolve this issue, a deal should be struck before the start of pre-season, with Sevilla playing warm-up matches in Spain and Portugal next month.
