Ronald Araujo is a really good player, he came through Barcelona's youth academy and has been fantastic at times for them.

But the rumors about his departure will not just disappear, and while Barcelona remains in a difficult financial situation, this will only continue.

The latest wave of rumors comes from The sports worldwho say Bayern Munich still have hopes of signing the centre-back.

They admit it's an ambitious plan, but while Barça are still mired in debt, anything is possible. Apparently they want 100 million euros for the Uruguayan, but one could imagine an offer much less than that which should be seriously considered given the financial pressure.

Bayern have spent a lot on central defenders in recent years, with Matthijs de Ligt join for 67 million euros and Jim Min-jae is for 42 million euros, with Eric Dier also coming in January. Unless one of those players move on, it's hard to see them adding Araujo as well – so for now, Barcelona fans can relax.
