The concern of Frenkie de Jong continues at Barcelona, the definitive return date cannot be established
Earlier this week, Frenkie de Jong made his long-awaited return to training. Barcelona have been without the Dutch midfielder since April due to an ankle injury, but now, it looks like a comeback is in sight.
Barcelona hope to get De Jong back in the next two weeks, but it is not certain that this will end up happening. According to AS DiaryClub officials are still very worried about his blue – currently, the feeling he has in it changes every day, meaning that it is impossible to predict when he will be able to return to action.
The truth is that Frenkie de Jong's feelings vary from day to day. There is still no set return date for the Dutch midfielder. @fansjavimiguel

Before the season, Barcelona had recommended surgery to de Jong as a way to fully resolve the injury, but did not entertain the possibility. There is undoubtedly a fear that a recurrence could occur if he returns to the field too soon, which makes it understandable why there is so much concern.
The problem for Barcelona is that they can't do without De Jong for much longer – they only have three pivot options, and one of those (Pedri) will play further forward due to injuries to Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez.
