The €22 million former Real Betis centre-back will become available on a free transfer this winter

Felipe has only played 28 times for Al-Ittihad, but has been nursing muscle problems for most of his time there, and this season he was left unregistered after just 20 minutes of action. He has already been linked with a return to his former club Betisalthough naturally he would have to return to a much more modest salary. If he were to return on a free, it would certainly be a smart move from Betis.
The 27-year-old, who has been capped by Italy, may also want to test the free agency market and find a more lucrative offer.
