The Espanyol star criticizes Barcelona's response to a controversial no-goal against Real Sociedad

This week, there has been a lot of talk surrounding the controversial no-goal that was scored by Robert Lewandowski during Barcelona's 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad on Sunday. The Polish striker's through ball opened the scoring early at the Real Arena, but the semi-automatic offside system ruled it was ahead of the last man – although images released later disputed this.

Barcelona was furious about the matter, but second Spanish defender Omar El Hilali, there is an air of hypocrisy about his complaints (via Relief).

“They did it again this year. The rule is for everyone, it can't be that when we play against Barcelona the offside is good and when they are the others it seems that there is something wrong. Or it is black for all or white for all. It cannot be one thing for some and another for others. If they have disabled some goals like us or if it is from the tip of the boot, this is the case for everyone.”

The League reaffirmed that the decision of the semi-automatic offside system was correct. Regardless, there is little that Barcelona can do now on the matter.
