The five biggest Premier League transfers of the summer so far: Tottenham splash out £65m for Solanke as Chelsea continue to spend
The 2024 Premier League summer transfer window is in full swing and clubs have been splashing out ahead of the new season.
July 1 marked the start of a new PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) period, which meant teams across the country began spending a little more freely.

5. Max Kilman – Wolves to West Ham: £40m

Kilman has great technique and brings much-needed youth and pace to West Ham's ageing defence.

4. Amadou Onana – Everton to Aston Villa: £50m
Aston Villa have broken their transfer record by signing Onana from Everton.
The Belgian midfielder returned from Euro 2024 and completed its £50 million move to Villa Park shortly after.

Onana will replace Douglas Luis in Unai Emery's midfield as they compete in the Premier League and Europe this campaign.
3. Pedro Neto – Wolves to Chelsea: £51.4m
Chelsea announced the signing of Neto during pre-season as they continue to recruit new players.
Neto joined the Blues from Wolves for £51.4m to bolster Enzo Maresca's already stacked squad.
The extreme was said to be In tears as he leaves Wolves' training ground and said goodbye to his teammates.
It was an emotional decision for him, but now all his focus will be on finding a place in the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge this season.
2. Leny Yoro – From Lille to Manchester United: 52 million pounds
The arrival of 18-year-old Yoro at Old Trafford is one of the biggest signings of the summer so far.
His £52m move to Manchester United allowed him to follow in the footsteps of Joshua Zirkzee.
The French centre-back took part in pre-season and was expected to play an important role in Ten Hag's team's defence.
However, he has suffered an injury that will keep him out for the first few months of the season, delaying his competitive debut for now.
1. Dominic Solanke – From Bournemouth to Tottenham: £65m
Tottenham They broke their transfer record this summer with the signing of Bournemouth striker Solanke.
Ange Postecoglou landed her man for a massive £55m asking price, a figure that would rise to £65m with add-ons.
Solanke has signed a six-year contract with the club, having been rewarded with a move following a brilliant last campaign.
He scored 19 Premier League goals, his best season in the top flight, and will now be looking to repeat that form for Spurs.
