According to Claro Sports (via Marco), Dos Santos is now involved in the petrochemical business, and makes his money as an oil investor. He is an investor in Procura Mexico, a subsidiary of Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), and earns an estimated salary between $400-500k (€378-473k). He also has a luxury car business, buying and selling prestigious models.
PEMEX is the state-owned Mexican oil company, said to be the seventh most polluting company in the world. By 2023, they had assets valued at 129 billion euros, and are the second largest oil company in Latin America.
