Senior Getafe and the Moroccan midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada he tragically died at the age of only 35 years.
Born in Provins in France to Moroccan heritage, not far from Paris, Barrada came through Paris Saint-Germain's academy before moving on to Getafe's youth system. He will spend two years with the first team, before moving to Al-Jazira in the UAE. His most famous career took him to Marseille for two seasons, before spells at Al-Nasr, Antalyasor, Nastic, Al-Shahania and finally Lusitanos back in France, when he retired in 2021.
Ace for Reliefhe died of a heart attack. At the time he was working as a pundit with RMC Sport and BeIN Sport, while he also took coaching courses. Barrada would make 28 appearances for the Moroccan national team, appearing in two African Nations Cups, and the London Olympics in 2012, scoring four goals for the Atlas Lions.
In total, Barrada made 227 appearances throughout his career, scoring 44 times and providing 36 assists. A technically gifted midfielder, Barrada enjoyed a ferocious strike and an impressive work rate.
