The former goalkeeper of Real Madrid to spend two nights in cells after being arrested

Senior Real Madrid goalkeeper Moha Ramos was arrested by the Civil Police in Lanzarote, before a match he was supposed to play with Tenerife B against Union Sur Yaiza in a pre-season friendly.

The 24-year-old had a previous legal matter pending from the summer of 2023, reports Cadena Cope Tenerife (via MD), although no details were given on what this is. Despite Tenerife's best efforts to secure his release, it looks like he will spend Saturday and Sunday evening in the cells, while awaiting trial on Monday.

Ramos was regarded as a top talent in Real Madrid's academy going on, and took part in Zinedine Zidane's first team training sessions for some time at the age of 17. He was also nicknamed “Dida” by Marcelo Viera, but after leaving Los Blancos. in 2021, his career took him to Birmingham City, Real Union de Irun, Rayo Cantabria, Aviles and Las Palmas Atletico, before returning to his native Tenerife a decade after leaving to join Real Madrid.

In his farewell Instagram post, he lamented not being able to “show from inside my house, as it has been for 14 years, that people can change and mature, regardless of the mistakes they might make have done during the process.”
