The former striker of Barcelona, left before the summer, is soon to return to Catalonia
Earlier this summer, Chelsea activated the release clause of Marc Guiu, who opted to join the Premier League giants instead of staying at Barcelona. At the age of 18, Guiu is not ready for first-team football in west London, and could be set for a return to Catalonia.

It wouldn't be Barcelona that would join, but rather their city rivals, Espanyol. It is according to Esport3 (via Sport), who reported that Los Pericos are favored to sign Guiu on a season-long loan deal.
Spanish are set to lose star striker Martin Braithwaite imminently as he has agreed a move to Olympiacos. A new number nine is desperately needed, and Guiu is well placed to take on that role, provided a deal can be struck with Chelsea in the coming days/weeks.
If Guiu returns to La Liga, it will be interesting to follow his performance. It was raw, but promising every time he pulled on the Barcelona jersey
