On Thursday The League introduced the salary cap for September 2024 in Primera and Segunda, with some dramatic changes from the same period last year. Perhaps the most glaring differences were Sevilla and Espanyol, who had salary caps of just €2.5m and €9m respectively.
They were two of the four Primera games that were over their salary cap, after Liga General Manager Javier Gomez confirmed that nine games in the top two divisions were over the limit. According to Chain CopeBarcelona and Getafe are the other two sides.
Barcelona is working on the renewal of Gerard Martín. The club considers him to be the supporter of Alejandro Balde, and has already met with his agents in an initial meeting. Flick and the sports management are happy with his attitude. @monfortcarlos

Getafe are only slightly above their limit, while the degree of excess to Barcelona is not yet known. The Catalan team must present its accounts for the 2023-24 season before the end of September. Despite the fact that they increased their salary cap by €156m from the previous year.
Meanwhile, the five Segunda teams above their limit are Almeria, Levante, Granada, Real Oviedo and Huesca, three of which have been relegated in the last two years.
