Georgia are set for a historic battle with Spain in the last 16 of Euro 2024 on June 20.

The Red stormed into the knockout stages with maximum points from their three games in Group B.

However, Georgia were forced to fight for their place in the next stage, in their first appearance at a major tournament in Germany this summer.

Willy Sagnol's side are ranked outside against Spain in Cologne, but will be confident of a clash against the 2012 and 2016 winners.

Georgia will ride a wave of support from their fans this weekend and former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is offering an extra reward.

According to reports from ReliefIvanishvili will give the team 10 million euros if they can get past Spain and book a slot in the quarter-finals.

Ivanishvili described their group stage win against Portugal as a “historic and dream win” and the team will have another boost as they face Spain.
