Chelsea just brought it Marc Guiu from Barcelona, activating his €6 million release clause last week, but could be on his way back to Spain. Shortly after signing for the Blues, he was linked with a loan move to Sevilla, and it seems that is still on the agenda.
Guiu had interest in Seville while he was still in Barcelona, and MD say that Chelsea I believe that a one-year loan to Andalusia could be beneficial, because of the competition for places for him at Stamford Bridge. Sevilla have holes to fill up front, with Isaac Romero set to be there, but Youssouf En-Nesyri and Rafa Mir on the exit ramp. There he also met the former manager of the Barcelona academy Garcia Pimienta.
The 18-year-old was impressive in the cameo appearances he made for the Blaugrana next season, scoring twice in seven appearances, only one of which was a start. Guiu still remains rather untested in senior football, however, and making an immediate jump to Chelsea is not as easy as it would be to go to the first team at Barcelona, given the set-up and the path he has taken to arrive
