Real Madrid remain on course to wrap up the La Liga title on Saturday, having done their part against relegation-threatened Cadiz at the Santiago Bernabeu. Carlo Ancelotti rotated his squad a lot with next week's Bayern Munich clash in mind, but it didn't affect the result, which finished 2-0 at home.
It was a frustrating first half for Los Blancos as Cadiz held firm. They failed to create many opportunities in the opening 45 minutes, but only six minutes into the second period, they found the breakthrough. It was Brahim Diaz who scored a stunning goal from outside the penalty box.
Soon after, Real Madrid managed to double their lead. Brahim was involved again, and his cutback was turned home by forward Jude Bellingham to score for the second straight League game. The Englishman was only on the pitch for a couple of minutes before finding the back of the net.
They weren't finished there, and Joselu Mato scored in stoppage time, capping a beautiful afternoon for the hosts.
Real Madrid The title win will be officially confirmed if Barcelona drop points to Girona in the Catalan derby later Saturday. For now, they can enjoy another good win in this dominant season.
