The manager of Barcelona Hansi Flick against Eric Garcia leaves amid the interest of Girona
Manager of Barcelona Hansi Flick addressed the media ahead of their clash with Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday night, with most of the questions centered around the club's transfer activities. Clement Lenglet, Vitor Roque and Mikayil Faye have all left the club, but Barcelona still don't have enough space to register star signing Dani Olmo.
Since this is the case, other sources have been suggested. A potential deal for Pablo Torre is unlikely to make much of a difference to his salary cap struggles, but a sale for Eric Garcia could help Olmo's registration become a reality.
Girona remains interested in Garciawho had him on loan last season from Barcelona, and there was talk of a move of 15 million euros. The 23-year-old would have a key role for Girona, but is likely to be used by Hansi Flick.
Asked about a potential exit though, Flick was keen not to lose any more players.
“I think that some players have been left in the last days. We also need some players to be able to play and be competitive with other teams. For me now, for the team, they are good. Count on Dani, something we can to do is to put him in the team.”

The Blaugrana still have six central defenders on their books in Ronald Araujo, Inigo Martinez, Jules Kounde, Pau Cubarsi, Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen. However, with Araujo out until the end of 2024, and Kounde looking as if he will be used at right back, Barcelona is not as deep as it seems. Christensen and Garcia have both been employed in the midfield at times as well.
