amorim He made his debut as United head coach on Sunday when tied 1-1 with Ipswich Town sitting 12th in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford scored the first goal of his new era after just 81 seconds, but the fourth draw of the season came at full time.
Many United The players were not able to show their full capabilities and the overall performance of the team caused even more points to be lost.
club legend hargreaves He watched him on Portman Road and then revealed who he thinks Amorim might sideline.
“He (Amorim) was in front of me and I was really frustrated, I'm not going to lie,” he said via the sun.
“He wasn't happy with (Diogo) Dalot's position in the first half. (Joshua) Zirkzee's position in the second half also frustrated him a little bit.”
Hargreaves also added: “A lot of these players won't be playing for three, four or five weeks.”
Dalot was included in Amorim's starting XI for their trip to Ipswich, playing at left back despite being a natural right back.
He has started every Premier League game for United this season and has already been impressed with his new boss.
“It went very well,” Dalot said, according to the guardian. “He made an impact immediately in terms of his philosophy and the way he wants us to play.
“It suits the club's standards, high-intensity football and hard work for the team. We have to give credit to him and his staff for all the information they gave us.
“It was very clear and obviously now we will need more training and games to put this into practice. It is very demanding. It is exactly what we need for this type of club.
“That is the standard the club must have, demanding that people be truly professional and work hard for the team. That is the clear message it gives us every day.”
Zirkzee, on the other hand, has continued to struggle at United following his £36.5m summer move from Bologna.
The Dutchman scored the winning goal against Fulham on the opening weekend of the season, but has failed to score another since.
His last six Premier League games have all come as a substitute, with goalscorer Rashford starting ahead of him against Ipswich.
Amorim hopes to help Zirkzee thrive under his guidance as a series of tough matches approaches.
United will next host FK Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, a competition in which they have only won once after four matches.
League action then returns with the visit of Everton before tough tests against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
Amorim's first Manchester derby will be against Manchester City on December 15 before the Carabao Cup quarter-final clash at Tottenham.
The January transfer window will offer the Portuguese the opportunity to strengthen his squad, although some adjustments will clearly need to be made.
