The midfielder goes public with the desire of Barcelona – “If an offer came in, I would like to go there”
The midfielder of Napoli and Slovakia Stanislav Lobotka has revealed his desire to leave his club for a bigger fish, and in particular, he would be pleased to end up on the Catalan coast. Lobotka has been fleetingly linked with Barcelona in recent years.
He first made his way onto Barcelona's radar at Celta Vigo, where he impressed by dictating time, before moving on to Naples and gradually becoming a key part of his team. Since he was mentioned intermittently in relation to the Blaugrana, but when Xavi Hernandez complimented him in March, this speculation returned.
Speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by SportLobotka was open to leaving Naples.
“I want to play for a top-level club, but now I'm in Napoli, I have a contract, I have an 'Italian family' here. If I had an offer from an important club, I would accept it, but I wouldn't be a problem to stay.”
Barcelona have not mentioned anything about Sergi Roberto, whose contract also expires today.

More specifically about Barcelona, Lobotka revealed that he had a childhood affection for the Catalan side.
“I followed them when I was a kid, with Deco and Ronaldinho. If an offer comes, I would like to go there,” said the 29-year-old.
While Lobotka has plenty of quality, he may have suffered from Xavi's departure. Much of the talk has been that Director Sporting Deco and manager Hansi Flick are looking for a more imposing physical presence in the middle of the pitch. Recently his agent also said that they had agreed a deal with Barcelona, but it was never that close to actually signing for them
