The president of the League Javier Tebas is allegedly at risk of suspension due to the investigation – report

The President League Javier Tebas is allegedly at risk of being suspended by the Sports Administrative Court (TAD) following a legal complaint by Real Madrid, according to the latter in the Spanish capital.

According to Relief, Tebas will be suspended in his role as a precautionary measure by TAD or tomorrow, or during the next week – the highest administrative body in Spain. This comes after the interim president of the RFEF was also suspended by the same body for improper practices as part of an interim board.

Tebas' problems, they say at the Bernabeu, are due to the complaint that Real Madrid filed regarding the CVC deal, which saw 38 of the 42 La Liga sides sign an agreement to sell 10% of the its TV rights in the next 50 years. The Blancos claimed that the process to call the assembly and vote through the agreement was not carried out properly, and therefore, Tebas should be suspended “shortly” according to the report. TAD opens an investigation, and it is said that the Government will suspend Tebas.

The head of the League complained recently Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had too much power, as evidenced by the presence of many politicians in his Director's Box at the Santiago Bernabeu. La Liga has also won a number of legal cases regarding Real Madrid's complaints about the access of TV operators and the CVC deal, but those close to the capital club feel that Tebas will make a impending suspension.
