Real Madrid are not expected to part with any of their key players during the summer transfer window, although it is not a foregone conclusion that they will all stay. Andriy Lunin was linked with a departure, meanwhile Dani Ceballos seems to be pushing for an exit.
Ceballos was in short supply last season for Carlo Ancelotti's La Liga and Champions League winning side, playing around half of Real Madrid's accumulated games – with many of his appearances coming from the bench the substitute. Despite this, the club's bosses are not too keen on allowing him to leave, as the departure of Toni Kroos means they are already one midfielder down for next season.
Ceballos plans to push for an exit in the coming weeks, and according to Carrusel Deportivo (via Sport), his desire is to return to Real Betis, with whom he was until his move in 2017 to Real Madrid.
