The Real Madrid star is unlikely to leave in January despite interest from La Liga

Real Madrid is not a team that typically makes transfers in the winter, although numerous reports have claimed that there could be at least one arrival during the next window due to the club's injury crisis. If that happens, a departure could also happen – which is that of Jesus Vallejo.

Despite Real Madrid only having 2-3 fit centre-backs in the last couple of months, Vallejo has seen very little action. Carlo Ancelotti does not count on the 28-year-old, so a departure in January is very possible.

However, ED say it's really unlikely to happen. Rayo Vallecano are the team most willing to sign Vallejo, although I do not believe that Real Madrid will allow an agreement in January. In addition, another reason that the Vallecas match is restless for the move is that there is concern about his lack of sharpness of the match.

It remains to be seen if Vallejo leaves in January, but even if that doesn't happen, this season will surely be his last Real Madrid player
