The Real Madrid superstar suffered muscle discomfort during the Intercontinental Cup success

2024 has been a very busy year for Real Madrid. In total, they have won five trophies (Spanish Supercup, Liga, Champions League, UEFA Supercup and Intercontinental Cup), with the last one achieved on Wednesday, defeating Pachuca 3-0 in Doha. While it was a very good night for Los Blancos, it wasn't perfect.

The reason for this involves Jude Bellingham. According to Cadena COPE (via MD), the English midfielder suffered muscle discomfort in his thigh during the match, and therefore had to be replaced late by Carlo Ancelotti.

At this stage, it is not yet known how serious the problem is for Bellingham, but with only four days Real Madrid are in action against Sevilla, there are doubts whether he will be able to be involved at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, Ancelotti will be willing not to take risks, although with the winter break coming immediately after, there is a bit of a walk.
