The Spanish pop star responds to Real Madrid on the concert date – “Why do we have to do something?”
Spanish artist Lola Indigo he responded publicly Real Madridafter denying that the Santiago Bernabeu stadium would host his concert next year. Indigo announced on Monday that the Bernabeu would be part of their tour on June 14, 2025.
The Blancos are still not allowed to start hosting concerts again, as they work to soundproof the stadium in agreement with the Council of Madrid, which perhaps explains their distance from the concert. On Monday he published a statement denying that any concert has been organized, and stressing that the work is still ongoing.
Indigo, who appeared on the popular talk show La Revuelta with David Broncano, was confused by his answer.
“We have a date, which is June 14. We were told a date, we just don't have to do it. We all work with a soft approach of the community to do this without disturbing the neighbors. If there is a neighbor who wants to come to a concert, I invite you for free, to whatever you want to come,” said Indigo.

He then gave more context on the matter, explaining that until the soundproofing is finished, they cannot host concerts, but his part has clear assurances that it will be.
“Madrid came to issue a statement because the judicial process is very serious. The reality is that people do not read the statement, only the title. What they say is that the concerts cannot be held until the noise is resolved “.
“There must be a job, until it is finished it cannot be done. To make the announcement, we asked them to send us the soundproofing project, so we made the announcement.
Indigo is also friends with the Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.
“I have a relationship with Vinicius, for me he is the best in the world. I am a fan of Madrid because of Vini. He knows less about these things than me, always. He has never had a drink in his life.”
Real Madrid faced a series of legal challenges regarding the noise pollution created by the concerts that were hosted during the past summer, and were forced to stop in order to take measures against the noise. President Florentino Perez minimized the economic impact of this, but they have a number of lucrative contracts signed to make use of the facilities.
