The veteran goalkeeper would be “ready” if Barcelona came to ask for a replacement for Marc-Andre ter Stegen
Barcelona are weighing up their options for the rest of the season as it looks like they will be without captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen. It may be that they decide to replace the German now with a free agent, try to sign someone in January, or keep faith in Inaki Pena.
A number of porters without a club they came as options to sign in a free, while Alvaro Valles was previously linked with Barcelona, and did not play for Las Palmas. Some have even suggested that they might try to talk Wojciech Szczesny out of retirement.

Before Barcelona and Manchester City, Claudio Bravo he also retired this summer at age 41, but told WinWin (via AS Diary) that “if Barça calls me, I will be prepared”.
The Chilean legend has been at Real Betis for the last four years of his career, beating Rui Silva for the number one spot for most of it. He made 74 appearances during those four campaigns, conceding 81 goals and keeping 23 clean sheets. Last year he presented 9 times, and the season before he was used on 21 occasions.
