It’s known that Thomas Tuchel will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, but the Rekordmeister’s head coach may find himself out of a job should his side be eliminated from the Champions League.

On Saturday, Kicker reported that Tuchel will remain in charge for tomorrow’s clash against Lazio, but failure to progress from the Round of 16 may see the German head coach out of a job prior to the season ending, with Bayern Munich also sitting 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Lazio, Tuchel discussed whether tomorrow could possibly be his final game: “Not from my side. I don’t know what others in the club think, [but] you can be sure that nobody has any more ambition to win the game tomorrow than me.”

Bayern Munich are currently 1-0 down after Ciro Immobile put the Italian side ahead from the spot at the Stadio Olimpico. They will also be without Dayot Upamecano after the French defender was sent off in the reverse fixture.
