'Tired' Chelsea fans say same as on-loan striker David Datro Fofana bails out Burnley

David Datro Fofana has shown Chelsea exactly what they are missing by scoring twice on his home debut for Burnley to rescue a draw against Fulham..

The 21-year-old came off the bench at Turf Moor with the Clarets 2-0 down for Vincent Kompany's men to get a valuable point.

It was his second appearance since arriving on loan from the Blues last month after his brief spell in Germany at Union Berlin was cut short.

And he quickly made his presence known, and the Ivory Coast international, who won three caps for the Ivory Coast, has already proven to be a big hit with the Burnley faithful.

Their first goal against the Cottagers in the 71st minute was gifted to them by Bernd Leno in no man's land, allowing the striker to head home.

And a follower sent a message: “Remember Datro Fofana, he is our best striker at the club.”

This fan posted: “It still baffles me how Datro Fofana never really got a chance at Chelsea.”

Meanwhile, another said: “We needed a striker and decided to loan David Datro Fofana.”

Fofana's brace follows the assist he received at the Etihad in midweek in Burnley's 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.
