Bellew added that more money should be invested in grassroots football, arguing that the current system is built in favor of the so-called “big six” Premier League teams.
He said: “(Grassroots football) is on its last legs, now more teams than ever are folding at the grassroots level. It is a shame that the money is not being distributed properly and that they continue to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. . .
