Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to make a double attempt to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters before the end of this window, according to the transfer insider Dean Jones.

After signing Archie Gray from Leeds United to bolster their midfield, the Lilywhites have signed Dominic Solanke from AFC Bournemouth to bolster their attack.

However, it has been reported that Spurs will not stop their summer business just yet as they look to add more new faces before the deadline.

Writing about Give me sport, Jones has reported that Tottenham are considering signing a new striker and have identified Eze as a serious option. The Englishman has a release clause of around £60m up front plus £8m in bonuses, so Spurs will have to shell out a huge amount to secure his signature.

Jones He also claims that with Emerson Royal on the verge of leaving the club, Spurs are considering signing a new right-back to replace the Brazilian and have singled out former defender Walker-Peters as an ideal option.

Southampton could agree to a fee of around £20m so that Ange Postecoglou's side can re-sign him for an affordable price. Tottenham will therefore have to shell out a total of £80m to sign the two before the deadline.

Eze has proven his worth in the Premier League In recent years, he would be a great acquisition for Tottenham if they sign him. On the other hand, Walker-Peters has proven his abilities in the Premier League and could be a solid signing to replace Pedro Porro if they manage to get his signature.

However, having already spent more than £100m this summer, it will not be easy for the north London club to buy Eze by activating his release clause. On the other hand, Walker-Peters would be an affordable signing.

However, it will be interesting to see if the north London club eventually sign the duo in this window.
