Tottenham could make a windfall when Ipswich line up a bid for a Championship star valued at £25m
Ipswich are reportedly willing to make a bid for Sunderland's Jack Clarke.
The 23-year-old joined the Black Cats from Tottenham in 2022 for an undisclosed fee and Spurs will collect a sell-on fee if he signs for Ipswich.
If the Premier League new boys bring him to Portman Road, Spurs will pick up 25 per cent of the fee, according to the James Copley of the Sunderland Echo.
The report also claims that Sunderland want at least £25m for him.
Southampton are also interested in the former Leeds star.
Ipswich's summer transfer window spending will be close to a whopping £70m if they sign Clarke.
Kieran McKenna's side, who achieved back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League, have already spent a lot of money on a Chelsea player Omari Hutchinson received a record transfer feewho was on loan to the Suffolk team last season.
The Tractor Boys have also signed Hull centre-back Jason Greaves and Manchester City forward Liam Delap.
Goalkeeper Arijanet Muric signed from Burnley For £8m, too.
Clarke has been a key player for Sunderland since joining on loan from Spurs in January 2022.

Sunderland gained promotion to the Championship via the play-offs and later secured Clarke a permanent four-year contract.
He played four games for Spurs but has now racked up 112 appearances for former Premier League side Sunderland.
The Leeds academy product has scored 27 goals and secured 22 assists during his time at the Stadium of Light.
He surpassed Jobe Bellingham's goal tally to become the club's top scorer last season, netting 15 times compared to his teammate's seven.
In March, US private equity firm Bright Path Sports Partners invested £105m in Ipswich.
This will be their first season back in the Premier League since 2002.
