Tottenham Hotspur is reported to be in a battle with Arsenal and Liverpool on a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Larsson, according to Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau.
After joining the Eagles last year, the 20-year-old has established himself in recent times as a key player in Dino Toppmoller's starting team. He has even contributed four goals for the Eagles from midfield so far this season.
Now, speaking of Sky Sports Germany, hau claims that the Swedish international's brilliant performances in the German top flight have already caught the attention of some big names first division clubs such as Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool among those who have shown their interest in him.
However, the journalist states that Frankfurt is not worried about the player's possible departure in the near future, since he is happy at the club and the midfielder has a contract until 2029.
Furthermore, Larsson does not have a release clause in his current contract, so the German team is currently in a strong position to demand a large fee for him if they are forced to cash in next year.

“The 20-year-old Swede (Larsson) has already attracted interest from several major clubs. According to our information, the Premier League is currently eyeing him. Some top teams, just behind Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC and also Tottenham Hotspur, they say, have Larsson in their sights, but also one or two competitors from the Bundesliga.”
Tottenham currently lack depth in midfield following the departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbejrg, Giovani Lo Celso and Oliver Skipp in the summer. Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma are the only specialist senior midfielder options Ange Postecoglou has at the moment.
On the other hand, it was an open secret that Liverpool were interested in signing a new midfielder in the previous transfer window but ultimately they were unable to do so. Therefore, it seems that they are now planning to reinforce the engine room next year.
Arsenal will have to revamp the midfield department in 2025 if Thomas Partey and Jorginho eventually leave the club. The duo have entered the final year of their respective contracts and are no closer to signing an extension.
Larsson: valued at around £23m per Transfer market – is a talented player and possesses great potential, so could be a shrewd signing for Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham if any of those clubs eventually snap him up before next season.
