Tottenham will be looking to win their first home game of the season to begin their Champions League bid against Everton this weekend.

Spurs They drew 1-1 against Leicester on Monday despite dominating most of the game and creating plenty of chances.

But it was a similar story to last year. Angel Postecoglou's men, who had their weak spot exposed by Jamie Vardy.

However, Tottenham will be hoping to pick up three points against a Everton team that struggled the first weekend.

In total, Solanke had three shots, all on target, and should have scored at least one.

Of course, it's a good thing he's gotten into those scoring positions in the first place, and there should be no panic at all among anyone connected with Spurs.

However, he will want to get started soon, and playing Everton at home should be the perfect opportunity to do so.

The hosts will be left without Rodrigo Bentancur under the Premier League's concussion rules after the midfielder suffered a horrific head injury against Leicester.

Pedro Porro is also a doubt after being substituted late in the game against the Foxes with a foot problem, but fans saw it in a training video released by the club.

Yves Bissouma is back after being banned by the club from playing his first Premier League game.

The midfielder was suspended after uploading a video of himself inhaling laughing gas.

Young will be suspended by the Toffees after bringing down Kaoru Mitoma as he ran towards goal, with the former England player serving a one-match ban.

This leaves the Toffees very short at right-back due to Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson being injured.

James Garner, who could play there, has a calf problem and will miss the game.

But they will hope Jarrad Branthwaite will be fit after the centre-back missed the 3-0 defeat to Brighton.

After the draw with Leicester, Postecoglou criticised Spurs' profligacy in front of goal.

In an interview with Sam Matterface from talkSPORTHe said: “I think we started the second half well, I think we were ahead for 15 minutes.

“We really wasted the ball in front of goal, we just didn't take advantage of the opportunities.

“We weren't clinical enough, we made some bad decisions, we lacked composure in and around the box.

“And in a football match, there is always the danger that the opposition will go up and score, and that is exactly what happened.

“They got a little bit of momentum out of that and we lost a little bit of composure and finished strong.

“But as I said, we can't keep wasting opportunities like we did tonight and expect to get a better result.”
