The Spurs could be left without their star defender Christian Romero for the start of the next season after he revealed his Olympic goal.
Romero has publicly stated his ambition to be one of Argentina's three senior players for the Under-23 tournament at this summer's games.

“I never had the opportunity to be in the Olympics and I would love to,” Romero said.
“Obviously it doesn't depend on me, but if they want to take me I am available for the Argentine team.
“I still have the same enthusiasm and desire as always to continue doing things well at the club to continue having the possibility of being here.”
Spurs could now be left in a difficult position if Argentina turn to Romero, with a strong possibility that he will need time off afterwards and therefore miss the start of the campaign.
