Tottenham Hotspur reportedly plan to make a 'last gasp' to sign Chelsea star Conor Gallagher in January, according to Soccer insider information.
The north London club have been busy this winter window and have already signed Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin to strengthen their front and back line.
However, it has been suggested that Ange Postecoglou is also interested in signing a new midfielder ahead of next week's deadline. Some names have been linked with a move to the newly renovated White Hart Lane, including Gallagher. However, it seemed Tottenham opted to cool their interest in the Chelsea star as they are yet to make a move for him.

However, Soccer insider information claims Chelsea have put a huge £80million price tag on the midfielder's head despite him entering the final 18 months of his current contract. Therefore, it will be extremely difficult for the north London club to lure the 23-year-old away from Stamford Bridge this month.
Gallagher has established himself as an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino's starting XI this season. He has shown impressive performances for the Blues, so the Englishman could be a big coup for Tottenham if they buy him.
The midfielder is dynamic, strong, technically sound, knows how to pass between the lines, has a good eye for scoring goals, can create opportunities for forward players and also works very hard out of possession. Therefore, the Englishman possesses the necessary attributes to play in Postecoglou's high-pressure style of football.
However, it would be almost impossible for Tottenham to sign Gallagher before next week's deadline if the west London club sticks to their huge £80m valuation.
