Transfer notebook: Chelsea could re-sign former star Van Nistelrooy in line for Premier League job, Cunha stance ahead of January window
Chelsea are considering a summer strategy to re-sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
Guehi passed through the ranks of the academy in Chelsea before completing an £18million move to Palace in the summer of 2021, having found first-team opportunities limited.
The England international is out of contract at the end of next season, which has alerted the Blues to the fact that he could be available for a reduced fee next summer.
Guehi is said to be in no rush to commit to a new deal at Selhurst Park in anticipation of interest from top six clubs in the summer.

The head of the Zorros takes the reins

With Potter once again ruling himself out, the former manchester united acting boss Ruud van Nistelrooy and Carlos Corberán of West Brom are two of the main candidates to succeed Cooper.
Once the new man is in place, Top also plans to have a major contribution in
recruitment when the January window opens, with funds expected to be available to finance Leicester's Premier League survival bid.

O'Neil was fighting to save his job after fans turned against him following a ten-game winless start to the campaign.
But the hierarchy is more relaxed about their position after back-to-back wins over Southampton and Fulham either side of the international break.
