Dan Turner’s stunning volley against Manchester City in December has won the Barclays WSL’s Goal of the Season award!
Villa travelled north for their penultimate game of 2023 and took an early lead in stunning fashion.
Kenza Dali’s cross from the right-hand side was met by Turner who hooked a right-footed volley into the far corner with surprising ease.
Turner beat out competition from fellow teammate Rachel Daly, as well as Cloé Lacasse, Vivianne Miedema, Aurora Galli, Bunny Shaw, Ella Toone and Drew Spence to scoop the award.
