Rubén Amorim will seek to begin his mandate at the helm in Manchester United with a victory when they face Ipswich Town on matchday 12 of the first division on Sunday, Nov. 24 on Portman Road. The Tractor Boys, however, will have their tails held high after having won Tottenham before the international break.

Man United will remain heavy favorites heading into the game and should ideally pick up the three points to strengthen their top four chances.

Here's a look at their potential lineup for the game:

goalkeeper – A change on the bench is unlikely to cause a change in the goalkeeping ranks. Therefore, André Onana is expected to start between the sticks on Sunday.

Defenders – Amorim could employ a three-man backline from the word go at United. Matthijs de Ligt could start in the central role and Lisandro Martínez is expected to appear on his left and Harry Maguire entering from your right.

Ugarte will start in the midfield

Midfielders – Man United's four-man midfield would essentially include two full-backs. Noussair Mazraoui will be the favorite to start on the right side, while Diogo Dalot could continue on the left, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia still not fully fit. The two vacant positions in the middle probably belong to Bruno Fernandes and £51 million purchase Manuel Ugarte.

Ugarte will primarily be the box-to-box midfielder who will continue to run up and down the field depending on where the most pressure is. That's a role he previously played at Sporting Lisbon under Rubén Amorim. Meanwhile, Fernandes' game could revolve around producing the goods in the final third.

Forwards – Mark Rashford He could be benched in Amorim's first game as manager as his form has been poor this season. Therefore, Alejandro Garnacho will likely benefit from playing on the left wing, while the right flank could be occupied by Amad Diallo.

The lone striker beyond all reasonable doubt will be Rasmus Hojlund with Joshua Zirkzee on the Man Utd bench.
