VfB Stuttgart Predicted XI vs Juventus: Stuttgart look for their first Champions League win of the season
After VfB Stuttgart’s 4-0 loss to Bayern Munich, Stuttgart will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday but they face a tough trip to Turin to play Juventus in the Champions League as they look for their first win of the season in Europe.
The weekend saw Maximilian Mittelstädt and Enzo Millot both start on the bench with Ramon Hendriks and Fabian Rieder filling in, despite being two of Stuttgart’s best players this season. Both are likely to return to the starting 11 this evening.
The only major absentee is Chris Führich, who picked up an injury during the international break with Germany earlier this month. This meant that the winger missed out on the game at the weekend and will not be fit in time for the game in Italy. This will likely mean that, depending on the formation being played, Rieder will keep his place in the squad or Millot will replace the Swiss international.
Striker pairing Deniz Undav and Ermedin Demirovic are also likely to keep their places as despite firing blanks against Bayern, the pair still have 12 goals between them.
Predicted Stuttgart XI:
Alexander Nübel – Josha Vagnoman, Anthony Rouault, Jeff Chabot, Maximilian Mittelstädt – Atakan Karazor, Angelo Stiller – Enzo Millot, Deniz Undav, Jamie Leweling – Ermedin Demirovic
