The DFB has announced that VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller has left the German national team camp amid muscular problems.

Stiller arrived at the camp on Monday with the rest of the squad but left earlier on today. The extent of his injury problems is yet to be seen and no replacement has yet been called up by head coach Julian Nageslamann.

The midfielder played the full 90 as Stuttgart nearly mounted a late comeback against Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend as they lost 3-2 after a late Chris Führich goal was disallowed.

In place of Stiller and no one is called up to replace him, Germany can rely on Pascal Groß, Robert Andrich and Felix Nmecha who can all play a similar role to Stiller.

During the November international break, Germany will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in Freiburg on Saturday before they then travel to Budapest next Tuesday to face Hungary. All Germany needs is a win in either of these games and they will secure the top spot in their group.
