Aston Villa returned to winning ways in their final outing before Christmas on Saturday lunchtime, triumphing 2-1 over reigning Premier League Champions Manchester City.
Goals in each half from Jhon Durán and Morgan Rogers ensured Unai Emery’s side took all three points, with feative cheer very much in the air at Villa Park.
It means Emery’s men now have three wins from their last four games, having won back-to-back home outings against Man City for the first time since 1993.
