Aston Villa is pleased to announce the appointment of James Shan as the club’s new Under-18 Head Coach.
Highly-experienced Shan developed his coaching skills at West Bromwich Albion having worked throughout the club’s Academy, before being appointed first-team coach and then caretaker head coach for the conclusion of the 2018/19 Championship season.
Shan subsequently became interim manager at Kidderminster Harriers before taking over as boss at Solihull Moors in 2020. He has since held managerial and coaching positions at Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Swindon Town.
