Aston Villa have added friendlies against Athletic Club Bilbao and FC Spartak Trnava to the club’s pre-season schedule.
Unai Emery’s men will play Trnava on Saturday, July 20 at the Anton Malatinsky Stadium (ko 4pm local time), before facing the Basque club at the Poundland Bescot Stadium in Walsall on Wednesday, August 7 (ko 7.30pm).
The fixtures form part of a pre-season calendar that includes a three-match tour of the USA as well as a domestic friendly against Walsall and a glamour trip to UEFA Champions League finalists, Borussia Dortmund.
