Villa Women WSL opener on TV

Aston Villa Women’s opening match of the Barclays Women’s Super League season against Chelsea has been selected for live television broadcast.

Villa start their 2024/25 campaign against the reigning WSL champions at Kingsmeadow, in what will be new manager Robert de Pauw’s first competitive fixture in charge of the club.

The encounter will now take place on Friday, September 20 (ko 7pm), live on BBC2.
